Assertiveness is all about knowing where the boundaries are - letting other people cross your's means you are being too passive; crossing others' inappropriately may mean you're being too aggressive. We look at your natural individual behavioural preferences in terms of style, and explore the impact this has on those around you - and therefore your ability to be assertive when you need to be. We define and explore the benefits of assertive behaviour and we practice the techniques associated with being assertive when dealing with people. A very practical module which proves that for almost everybody, assertiveness can indeed be a learned skill.
